Really bz Sunday - not going to catch up on details now.. I just spent the last 3 hours making a new song. Working title is Pretty Face. It's almost 4MB so only download if you have a fatty connection. I don't know what inspired this song - I guess the feeling of being lost in a forest. And yes - it is fun scratching wolf calls.

New favorite rap line : "What the shnitzel?" from the new Beaties record (which is good to quite good.
I start every blog with some version of "I'm so tired!" .. but I'm really so f'n tired right now. I've got to leave @ 10:30 to see Iron & Wine playing over at the Bowery Ballroom.
Jersey tomorrow to hang out with my niecey and maybe the Neil Young tribute showtomorrow night @ the Prospect Park Bandshell. Staying bz I guess - what with the break up and all.
Really starting to get excited for summer vacation (Burlington 1 weekend - AC for a bachelor party the next --- maybe) and my birthday (possible digicam & iPod in my future).

Worked hard on a song last night for like 3 hours. Felt good to create for a change rather than get all stressed out over what to create. I'm tyring to make a song that describes what it feels like to break up with someone. As usual - I;m trying to do this exclusivley using samples on the turntable - recording into my computer. This is what I've been trying to do since the inception of playing music - trying to convey a feeling - MY feeling. It's even more challenging on the turntables, and yet I still feel like it's going to allow me a more accurate representation in the long run. I'd say I'm maybe halfway done with it at this point - I'm looking forward to posting it to the website when it's done.
I'm getting all sorts of emails today about Remix Hotel coming up next weekend. I signed up for this free music/technology event a few months ago not knowing what level of exposure it would have. I'm psyched the word is getting out there.
Busy days at work... trying to plan vacation and b-day party... Any suggestions appreciated...

Rough night last night. As usual I couldn't sleep - woke up @ 3:30 am and watched the last third of Foul Play. They just don't make movies like they used to. Chevy Chase was so dollar dinero before he got hooked on the pain medicine and started doing talk shows.
Needless to say I'm f'n exhausted right now. An active Tuesday evening.
Started with an appetizer dinner at Joya. Met my friend H. to see the new Ben Stiller flick, Dodgeball. Pretty funny, not awesome, but what is anymore. However there was a pretty tight Jason Bateman cameo towards the end (not to mention Chuck Norris).
Then went for a drink at the Gowanus Yacht Club. That place is quickly becoming my favorite lo-fi drinking option in town. (Don't worry Roxy - you'll always be my favorite).
Until tomorrow my fine feathered friends...

Oy. Back home again on a Monday night. One week ago I was having a healthy night. I ate a healthy dinner - rode across the brooklyn bridge on my skateboard and wrote an entry in my new blue journal.
Tonight, on the other hand, I got ripped on margarita's @ Lobos on Court Street, and went to my buddy A.'s place near the Manhattan bridge. I was scoping it out for possibly my bday party next month ( the big 3-0!)
Still undecided as to what to do. But whatev.
Tired now. Gonna hit the hay.

Now I'm working it with this Blog setup. I'm so tired right now, but I'm working on getting this thing straight.
The website has been a bit dry recently - but hopefully getting this CMS going will bring it back to life (didn't I say that 2 weeks ago?).
