Been working for a bit on an all-cover band project. The idea is to cover songs never meant to played in an acoustic environment. Working titles for the band are "Cover Your Ass", "Dollars to Donuts" and "Booshalay Jackson" (of course).

Worked out the start of a version of Teardrop by Massive Attack. I'm hoping this evolves into a much darker, almost dark country feel. Working version posted on the music page.

Who's a slacker? Halfway through Rocktober and this is the first time I get aorund to posting. For all 3 of you who read this I'm sure you are furious.

It's been a busy Autumn. I went back up to Vermont this weekend for a friend's wedding. It was a great weekend. Lots of old friends, good times, late nights, strong emotions. The leaves & colors up there were intense, but it was already crazy cold (that's what ultimately drove me out of the state!)

Otherwise, I've been plugging along at work. Trying to get life back together in the apartment now that I am post-renovations. It's been a struggle, but it's getting there. I keep forgetting how important it is to just take care of the simple things to build a foundation for the larger issues. It all comes together in that way (for me anyway).

Haven't been getting too creative on any front these days, but I'm not beating myself up over it too much - it'll come when it comes. Gearing up for a few weeks of 30th bday parties, bachelor parties, weddings and the like. I barely have time to get my beauty sleep.
